Внешняя Карта памяти перестала работать

У меня есть внешний диск USB 2.0 WD Мой Книжный Выпуск Зеркала, работающий в RAID 1 (зеркальное отражение) режим. Только что жесткий диск начал перестать работать: это прекращает отвечать (каталоги не перечислены, возвратив ошибку после большого тайм-аута). Иногда это работает в течение многих недель перед отказом, иногда – несколько часов. Маленькие операции записи (как удаление немногих файлов или редактирование маленького файла) не вредят, но при копировании больших файлов в диск по сети или создании архива локально, дампов ядра. Также интересный отметить, что, после того как ядро перестало работать, Linux не хочет перезагружать обычно (reboot зависает); когда поле Linux является завершением работы с кнопкой питания, диск WD не засыпает режим (как это обычно делает): leds продолжают работать, нажимание и содержание кнопки "завершения работы" на задней панели диска ничего не делают; только отключение шнура питания помогает.

С другой стороны немного сообщений reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2.

Я просмотрел и прочитал подобные сообщения об ошибке тут и там, и я попробовал:

  • Я обновил ядро от v2.6.26-2 до 2.6.32-5, который не решил проблему.
  • Они говорят, этот мог бы кабельная проблема. Я попытался заменить кабель USB-to-miniUSB (который подключает внешний диск с компьютером) с другим. Никакие изменения.
  • Кто-то предлагает попробовать другой USB-порт. У меня есть только 4 внешних USB-порта, попробовал другой без успеха.
  • Они говорят для попытки uhci_hcd. Я размонтировал устройство, разгруженное ehci_hcd и смонтированный снова. Различие было то, что теперь в журнале я добираюсь reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2 и подобное ядро выводит через некоторое время.
  • Они говорят echo 128 > /sys/block/sdb/device/max_sectors. Я попробовал его ehci_hcd без успеха (примечание: Я дал эту команду после того, как диск был смонтирован, но перед использованием ее активно).
  • У меня есть lauched smartmond и проверка периодически вывода smartctl: температура диска в порядке, количество поврежденных секторов и некорректируемых ошибок 0.

Ни о чем подозрительном не сообщает S.M.A.R.T. кроме, возможно, следующего:

Конечно, я не попробовал все комбинации вышеупомянутых. Но к сожалению, я закончен кардинальных идей. Если кто-либо может совет что-то определенное относительно проблемы, пожалуйста.

  • Проверьте/измените USB-кабель
  • Попробуйте другой USB-порт
  • Попытайтесь сократить количество секторов к чтению-записи к устройству (см. Linux USB FAQ): echo 16 > /sys/block/sdb/device/max_sectors
  • Отключить ehci_hcd модуль (это понизит USB от 2,0 до 1,1): echo "blacklist ehci_hcd" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Похож это - питание/аппаратная проблема или ошибка в ehci_hcd.Дальнейшее чтение:
